Task Setup Guide for Argos UK

On the tasks page select create tasks.

Select Argos Collection / Argos (Delivery) from the drop down. 


Checkout Mode

Select Normal Here.

Product ID/PID

You can find a PID on Argos UK by locating the URL of your desired product for example.

You can easily locate the PID by looking just after product/ for example the PID would be 7951114 you can enter this into the "Product PID" section in your task creation.


Create a task

To create a task, click the green "Add Task" button in the bottom left. 
Here you'll have the following options:


Select your profile here.

Argos is less strict when it comes to one checkout per profile/card so you are able to checkout multiple per profile. However some high demand items for example PS5s it is strictly one checkout per address otherwise you are likely to be cancelled.

We recommend to use a catchall in this format since the bot will generate a new account everytime.


Keep in mind you DO NOT need to make accounts. The bot creates accounts so you must use emails that are NOT associated with Argos accounts.

Checkout Mode

Here you'll want to select Normal.

Payment Mode

There are is only one type of payment mode available. This is Credit Card.

The credit card option will automatically checkout the item for you. You will most likely need to be prepared to accept your banks 3DS when this happens.

Proxy List

Here you want to select the proxies that you would like to use. We recommend that you use a mixture of datacentre and sticky residential proxies to ensure the best likely-hood of success. 

We would not recommend that you run any more than two tasks proxyless.

We recommend a proxy to task ratio of 3:1 this is to help you avoid getting your proxies banned.


Enter the amount you would like to purchase. 

Store ID

Here you need to select the store ID of the store you are wanting to purchase you can find this by clicking here typing in the postcode of your store and clicking on more info then it will come under "Store Number" enter that in the store ID section in the task creation. (You are also able to run multiple store IDs in one task just separate them by a comma for example. (1111,1111,1111)



Below we recommend to use the following delays:

Initial Item(s) release delays to use - 1,000

Restock delays to use - 15,000

If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.

Correct Statuses For Argos Tasks

  • [500] Error Opening Payment Page - This means the Item is OOS

Incorrect Statuses For Argos Tasks

  • 400 Error adding billing address, Retrying - This is a profile issue. Please double check that all fields are filled in correctly and that you have a Country Code in your phone number. Additionally, try your house number in address 2.
  • Error 500 - Sometimes related to using an e-mail address that is already associated with an argos account. You must use different e-mail addresses each time you run an argos task.
