Task Setup Guide for Aldi UK

In this article, we will cover how to set-up your tasks for an Aldi UK release.

Create a task

To create a task, open your tasks.csv file within the Carnage folder.

Here you'll need to complete the following columns:

Site

In order to run the Aldi UK module, input Aldi UK here.

Product ID/PID
For this column you need to enter the PID of the item that you would like to purchase.

You can find a PID on ALDI by locating the URL of your desired product.

https://www.aldi.co.uk/intex-spa-pool-lighting/p/702183368342400

In this instance, the PID is the number at the end of the link: 702183368342400

Quantity

This module supports the option of selecting the quantity of the item that you would like to checkout. If you leave this empty, then the default quantity will be 1.

Profile Name

Here you need to insert a valid profile name. ALDI isn't strict when it comes to one checkout per profile/card so you are able to checkout multiple per profile on most items.

Method

There are two types of payment methods available. Those are Credit Card and Cart.

Cart method will automatically add the item to your cart and then send a webhook link for you to checkout manually. Aldi UK has cart hold, meaning that this item is reserved for you for a short period of time

Mode

There is one mode available, this is Default mode

Error Delay

Here you can set your desired Retry / Monitor delay. You can write this in a Retry-Monitor format. For example, we recommend using 3000-3000 for an initial release.

If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.

Proxy List

Select your proxy list here.

At the very minimum, we recommend a proxy to task ratio of 1:1 on this module.
