Task Setup Guide for Amazon UK/DE/FR/ES/IT
In this article, we will cover how to set-up your tasks for an Amazon release.
Create a task
To create a task, open your tasks.csv file within the Carnage folder.
Here you'll need to complete the following columns:
Site
In order to run the Amazon module, input Amazon here.
Product PID / OfferID
For this column you need to enter the PID of the item that you would like to purchase. To find this, you will need to navigate to the page of the product. For example:
Once you are here, scroll down the page until you find the Additional Information section. Here you will find an ASIN number. This number can be used as your PID. In this instance, this would be B003LNLPQ6. Please note that using the ASIN number as your PID will only checkout items that are sold by amazon directly.
Alternatively, Carnage also supports the use of an OfferID. This is particularly useful when you have the item saved, but the product page isn't available. This option will checkout items that are sold by both Amazon, and any third party sellers.
How to find 'OFFER ID' on Amazon drops.
On Amazon, some products have many third party sellers and each listing has its own OFFER ID. Right click on seller link on the product page and select inspect element. Here you will want to copy the id after 'seller=' in the link. For amazon warehouse offers it's the id after 'node=' - If there is no ID after 'seller=' or 'node=' that means that product has no other seller offers or third parties, so you don't need an 'Offer ID' as they should use only the product PID.
Quantity
This module supports the option of selecting the quantity of the item that you would like to checkout. If you leave this empty, then the default quantity will be 1. Please note that if you are using Default Mode then the maximum quantity you can checkout is limited to 10. Alternatively Fast Mode does not have this restriction, allowing you to checkout as many items as you like in a single task.
Price Range
Here you can input your desired price range. You need to enter this in a MIN-MAX format. For example, if you wanted to checkout something between the values of $400 and $700, then you would enter 400-700 here. This can be used for both ASIN and Offer ID PID's.
Profile Name
Here you need to insert a valid profile name. Carnage will use the default information stored on your Amazon account, and will not use your profile information.
Account
Here you will need to input your amazon account log-in details. The format of this is email:password. For example, billtom123@gmail.com:billy14234.
Additionally, if you are using proxies then you will need to confirm your log-in manually via the link sent to your Amazon accounts phone number when you first start your task. This is the standard, default sign-in verification for Amazon. If you encounter an error here, it is likely that you have "2SV" enabled. Carnage does not support this kind of verification at this point in time, and you will need to disable it within your account settings.
Please keep in mind that sessions are shared per account (two tasks will share the same cart/session) It's therefore recommended that you run one task per account.
Carnage also supports the use of business accounts.
Method
There is only one type of payment method available. This is Credit Card.
The credit card option will automatically checkout the item for you. You will need to login into the account after a successful checkout to confirm the payment again. You have 3 days time to do this. You are also able to change the Credit Card and Delivery infomation during this period.
Mode
There are eight modes available for Amazon. These are Default, Fast, Prime, Session, Clear, Raffle, Monitor and Price mode. Additionally, you can combine two of these modes. For example, you can input Prime Fast to use both modes. In this case, Carnage will bypass Prime and then use the fast mode for checkout. This is currently the fastest option for this module.
The Default mode will checkout the product automatically. This mode supports both the PID and OfferID.
The Fast mode will use an alternative method for a faster checkout, this may be more prone to errors occuring. This mode supports PID and OfferID.
The Prime mode will bypass Amazon Prime for you if its needed to checkout a specific item. With this mode, there is no need to have prime enabled on the accounts you're running. Prime mode supports both Offer ID and ASIN PID's.
It is important that you ensure that there are no existing items within your cart before running these three modes.
The Clear mode will clear your cart before attempting checkout.
The Session mode will login into all provided accounts and save the session for it. Once you have used this mode, you can then use one of the other modes for a faster checkout, as you wont have to accept 2FA once you want to run again.
Make sure to run the session mode in advance for a faster checkout, they're valid for a long time.
If the session is not valid anymore the bot will login again and request 2FA again.
The Raffle mode is used for any raffle's that you would like to enter. You can only enter each raffle once per account. You must use a valid Raffle link within the PID column for this.
The Monitor mode allows you to monitor specific items. Once the task picks up that the item has come back into stock, then Carnage will start all additional tasks that you have prepared.
With Monitor mode, you can use either the PID, URL or Keywords (for example "+PS5;+Digital;-Joystick") Here, if every positive (+) Keyword matches the product restocking, then your tasks will start. However, if one of the negative (-) keywords are present within the product title, then the tasks wont start. You can therefore use this method to ensure that the bot only starts on the products that you want.
Additionally, Monitor mode wont use your proxies when in use on Amazon. Therefore you can run this mode 24/7 without using any data until the monitor task detects a restock and your tasks begin running.
The Price mode will automatically checkout any products on amazon that have a very large discount or price error.
To use this mode, you need to enter the percentage of the price you want to buy (Example: +50, -70, 50-90) within the product column. Once you then start your task, the bot will log into your account and wait for a price change / error.
The advantageous thing is that the entire product and price check process is done entirely in the cloud by us, so you will not waste any resources or proxies, except when the checkout process starts once you receive a price error.
Once the checkout is completed, the task will automatically wait for a new ping. After 10 failed attempts, the cart will be cleaned and put on hold.
We recommend that when available, you check the product release guide within discord in order to view our recommendation on which mode to run.
Error Delay
Here you can set your desired Retry / Monitor delay. You can write this in a Retry-Monitor format. For example, we recommend using 3000-3000 for an initial release.
If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.
Proxy List
Here you want to select the proxies that you would like to use. We recommend that you use a mixture of datacentre and sticky residential proxies to ensure the best likely-hood of success.
We would not recommend that you run any more than two tasks proxyless.
We recommend a proxy to task ratio of 3:1 this is to help you avoid getting your proxies banned.
Store Country
Currently only the UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, BE and AT regions are supported. To select which country you would like to run for, you need to fill in your countries name in this column. The format of the country must be written fully. For example, UK should be United Kingdom.
