Task Setup Guide for Swatch.
In this article, we will cover how to set-up your tasks for an Swatch release.
Create a task
To create a task, open your tasks.csv file within the Carnage folder.
Here you'll need to complete the following columns:
Site
In order to run the Swatch module, input Swatch here.
Check Stock
Here you can select whether you want Carnage to check to see if the item is cartable before attempting checkout. You can either input True or False. You are less likely to run into akamai related errors if you have this enabled, especially if you are running for an item that may be restocking.
Product ID/PID
For this column you will need to use the PID of you desired product.
You can locate this at the end of the products URL.
https://www.swatch.com/en-gb/majin-buu-x-swatch-gz358/GZ358.html
In this instance, the PID would be: GZ358.
Profile Name
Here you need to insert a valid profile name.
Account
There is the option to use a pre-existing account with this module. In order to do this, you will need to input your account details in a email:password format. The module will still use your profile information in order to checkout, and not any information stored onto the account itself.
Method
There are two payment methods available. These are PayPal and Credit Card.
The PayPal option will send you a webhook that will allow you to checkout the item manually. You will need the extension installed for this.
You must have the Carnage Bot extension installed in order successfully access the Paypal link.
The Credit Card option will automatically add the item to your cart and get to the final stage of the checkout process. You will then need to complete this checkout manually via the link sent to your webhook.
Mode
There are two modes available for this module. These are Default and Preload.
The default mode will automatically add the item to cart and get to the final stage of the checkout process. You will then be sent a link to complete the checkout manually.
The Preload mode allows the task to get to the final stage of the checkout process using a dummy product. Here the task will wait until the real desired item is instock and send you a webhook to checkout manually. This mode is therefore quicker, as the task is already at the last stage of the checkout process once your desired item comes back into stock. In order to use this mode, simply add an instock item PID to the "dummy_product" column and input Preload as your mode.
Error Delay
Here you can set your desired Retry / Monitor delay. You can write this in a Retry-Monitor format. For example, we recommend using 3000-3000 for an initial release.
If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.
Proxy List
Here you want to select the proxies that you would like to use. We recommend that you use a mixture of datacentre and sticky residential proxies to ensure the best likely-hood of success.
We would not recommend that you run any more than two tasks proxyless.
We recommend a proxy to task ratio of 3:1 this is to help you avoid getting your proxies banned.
Store Country
Currently DE and ES regions are supported for this module. To select which country you would like to run for, you need to fill in your countries name in this column. The format of the country must be written fully. For example, ES should be Spain.
CapMonster/2Captcha
Sometimes you might encounter a captcha on this site, therefore to be safe have a CapMonster or 2Captcha key entered within your settings file.
