Task Setup Guide for Euronics.
In this article, we will cover how to set-up your tasks for an Euronics release.
Create a task
To create a task, open your tasks.csv file within the Carnage folder.
Here you'll need to complete the following columns:
Site
In order to run the Euronics module, input Euronics here.
Check Stock
Here you can select whether you want Carnage to monitor the item before attempting checkout. You can either input True or False.
Product ID/PID
For this column you need to enter the PID of the item that you would like to purchase.
You can find a PID on Euronics by locating the URL of your desired product.
In this instance, the PID is the number at the end of the link: 202010675
Profile Name
Here you need to insert a valid profile name. Your profile will be used during the checkout process, therefore make sure that your details are correct.
Additionally, you need to input your province within your profile in the abbreviated format. For example, Rome would be RM.
Address 2 is also not used for Euronics.
Quantity
This module supports the option of selecting the quantity of the item that you would like to checkout. If you leave this empty, then the default quantity will be 1. Carnage will automatically try to switch your quantity if the previous checkout process failed.
Method
There are three payment methods available. These are PayPal, Bank and Credit Card.
The PayPal option will send you a webhook that will allow you to checkout the item manually. You will need the extension installed for this.
You must have the Carnage Bot extension installed in order successfully access the Paypal link.
The Credit Card option will automatically checkout the item for you. You will most likely need to be prepared to accept your banks 3DS when this happens.
The Bank option will allow you to pay via bank transfer.
Mode
There are two modes available.
These are Default and Preload.
The Preload mode allows the task to get to the final stage of the checkout process using a dummy product. Here the task will wait until the real desired item is instock and send you a webhook to checkout manually. This mode is therefore quicker, as the task is already at the last stage of the checkout process once your desired item comes back into stock. In order to use this mode, simply add an instock item PID to the "dummy_product" column and input Preload as your mode.
Error Delay
Here you can set your desired Retry / Monitor delay. You can write this in a Retry-Monitor format. For example, we recommend using 3000-3000 for an initial release.
If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.
Proxy List
Here you want to select the proxies that you would like to use. We recommend that you use a mixture of datacentre and sticky residential proxies to ensure the best likely-hood of success.
We would not recommend that you run any more than two tasks proxyless.
We recommend a proxy to task ratio of 3:1 this is to help you avoid getting your proxies banned.
