Task Setup Guide for Shopify.
In this article, we will cover how to set-up your tasks for a Shopify release.
Create a task
To create a task, open your tasks.csv file within the Carnage folder.
Here you'll need to complete the following columns:
Site
In order to run the Shopify module, input Shopify here.
Product ID/PID
For this column, you are free to use either the item link, the item's add to cart link, the Variant number or Keywords. Depending on the drop, we may have some of these available within the release guide on discord.

In order to use the items PID, you can find this by checking the item number on the item page or sometimes at the end of the URL link.
In order to use the items Variant number, you need to inspect element the item page and search for "Variant"Here, the Variant would be "42930845909145".
In order to use keywords then we would use the following format: "+Keyword1;+Keyword2;-Keyword3". In this instance, we could use "+groot;+cheese;+puffs". Here we have added which keywords we want Carnage to look for, and if for any reason you would like to exclude a word from the search, you could use a -keyword.
Please be aware that some of these methods may not work depending on the site.
Quantity
This module supports the option of selecting the quantity of the item that you would like to checkout. If you leave this empty, then the default quantity will be 1.
Size
Imput random here.
Profile Name
Here you need to insert a valid profile name. Its important to note that depending on the item that you are wanting to purchase, many sites place a limit in regards to how many items you can order per profile.
Method
There are twp types of payment method available. These are Credit Card and PayPal.
The Credit Card option will automatically checkout the item for you. You will need to be prepared to accept your banks 3DS when this happens.
The PayPal option will send a link to your discord webhook in order for you to complete the purchase manually via PayPal.
Mode
There are four modes available. These are Default, Safe, Fast and Risky.
The default mode needs to be used with /cart/ links. Additionally, please note that its highly recommended / essential that you have your third party captcha providers set up within your settings, as this will be needed if your chosen site has a checkpoint step.
The Fast mode simply attempts a faster add to cart method.
The Safe mode fetches the product using an API. This is used for sites such as supreme.
The Risky mode is to be used only with PIDs. In order to use this mode, you need to have IMAP enabled within your e-mail settings, and you also need to input your log-in details within your Carnage settings folder.
Error Delay
Here you can set your desired Retry / Monitor delay. You can write this in a Retry-Monitor format. For example, we recommend using 3000-3000 for an initial release.
If you are using proxies, you may want to increase/decrease the delays depending on your setup.
Proxy List
Here you want to select the proxies that you would like to use. We recommend that you use a mixture of datacentre and sticky residential proxies to ensure the best likely-hood of success. However, please note that proxy speed has a large input on your chances of success when trying to purchase from a Shopify site.
We would not recommend that you run any more than two tasks proxyless.
We recommend a proxy to task ratio of 3:1 this is to help you avoid getting your proxies banned.
